Here is a first view of Jimmy (Wally B’s Wallaby Brother)

Doodle Of Wallaby (Jimmy)

Jimmy, the wallaby brother of Wally B.

Here are some pictures of Wally B, the Wallaby

Some of you wondered what I have been doing—I wrote a children’s book and it is available in English and in Spanish.  Here is the main character, Wally B.  He is a wallaby.

Stay tuned for more about Wally B…

Bright Yellow Flowers Enjoying the Spring Breeze

LPS0043, USD 50.00During today’s morning walk in Crandon Gardens, I see these bright yellow flowers enjoying spring time.  Who doesn’t?

Iguana in Green

LPS0042 USD 50.00Here we see a very green, practically neon green, iguana.  He is just looking at me wondering what will be my next move.  I take his photo, admiringly, and then walk on and he scurries off into more of the foliage.  This is a Key Biscayne resident.

Finally a Blue Jay!

LPSS0041 USD 50.00Finally, I got to see a blue jay during my morning walk.  These guys are always flitting about so to get them to stay still long enough for a photo was not easy.  But here he is looking for his next stop!

Little White Flowers

LPS0040 USD 50.00Suddenly, I look and see these pretty white flowers growing in the wild.  They look as though they are snow flakes and yet they are soaking in 75 degree spring Florida weather.

Twin Bottle Brush Flowers

LPS0038 USD 50.00Once again, I am walking and see these beautiful bottle brush flowers.  This time the camera noted “twin bottle brush flowers” and could not resist taking a photo of both of them together.

Looking down on Tropical Plant

LPS0036 USD 50.00Walking along in Key Biscayne reveals many of these plants.  This one looked particularly inviting and happy.  It seemed to celebrate the bright blue sky and warm sunshine.

Wallaby Practicing for the WNBA (Wallaby National Basketball Association)

LFF0104, USD 50.00Last weekend, a friend mentioned her trip to Australia and how she liked the wallabies.  Wallabies!  That inspired me to remember those gentle diminutives of kangaroos!  This one is practicing for the WNBA which in this case is the Wallaby National Basketball Association.  Hope you enjoy this one.

Here are just four pictures from the event.  On March 15th and 16th, I had the privilege of participating in the local artist tent for local Key Biscayne Artists.  This was shared with three other talented artists of the area.

I would like to thank all of you who had a chance to stop by.  And thank you to the organizer of the event, the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne.

Frisky Peacock–Spring is Here!

LPS0033, USD 40.00Here we see a frisky peacock. Clearly Spring is here.  By the way, you might see this guy next weekend at the Key Biscayne Art Festival.  The Key Biscayne peacocks are known to wander anywhere on the island!

Photo Time! Photo of Peacock Resting on Ledge, Crandon Gardens

LPS0032 USD 40.00Here is a peacock who is not shy around cameras.  He let me take this photo after strutting around and showing off his fully opened feathers.  Taken with Leica V Lux 4 camera.

Blue Jay on Branch

LFF0103 USD50.00Here is another blue jay resting on a branch.  Watercolor on Khadi special watercolor paper.

Florida Blue Jay On the Ground

LFF0102 USD 40.00Here is a Florida Blue Jay on the ground, totally unaware of how beautiful he is with his vibrant blue colors.
